ormally the dividing point between East and West Germany, Berlin is now a popular city break. Visit the Brandenburg gate and see the monuments that are dedicated to the cities turbulent but fascinating history.

Dresden often referred to as “Florence of the Elbe” came to prominence in the 15th Century when it became the home of the Duchy of Saxony. Under such wealth many fine buildings and palaces were built. Many of these buildings were destroyed during the bombing of Dresden in World War Two. The city recovered quickly and many of the buildings have been lovingly restored to their former glory.

Day 1: Berlin (Arrival)

Arrive in Berlin and be transferred to your chosen central Berlin hotel by adapted transfers.

Berlin center is approximately 30 minutes from Berlin – Tegel airport depending on traffic.

Day 2: Berlin (Sightseeing)

Enjoy your first full day in this fascinating city. Take advantage of the hop on/ hop off bus that will take you on a tour of the most important and interesting museums, monuments and sights in Berlin.

Why not visit the Brandenburg gate, the Berlin wall and monument and check point charlie museum.

Day 3: Berlin (Sightseeing)

Enjoy a second full day on the city tour bus.

Visit the grand boulevard Unter den Linden where you will find Berlin cathedral and the state opera house.

Day 4: Berlin (Sightseeing)

Final full day of sightseeing of the German capital.

Why not check out museum island a UNESCO world heritage site which house 5 museums. Visit Quarter 206, a fantastic department store which is worth a visit just to see the architecture and design of the building .

Day 5: Berlin – Dresden ( Distance: 190 kms, Approx. time: 2.5 hrs)

Today transfer from your Berlin hotel to the train station and board the train to Dresden. We will ensure that the train booked is suitable for your requirements.

Day 6: Dresden (Sightseeing)

City tours in Dresden are available to book locally and all buses have accessibility.

Enjoy the baroque architecture of the city and how it has been sensitively restored after the bombing of 1945 saw the city destroyed.

Highlights of the city include the Zwinger Palace, Church of our Lady and Semper Opera House.

Day 7: Dresden (Sightseeing)

Second day in Dresden. With the choice of the Military History museum, the Green Vault and the Palaces on the Elba.

Day 8: Dresden (Departure)

Transfers are included from the hotel in Dresden back to the airport.

Dresden airport is located approximately 20 minutes from the center depending on traffic.
