Otavalo in the 2 hours north of Quito has the largest population of indigenous people. Enjoy this small Andean town and see the locals in the unique traditional dress.

You will be met at Quito airport and transferred to your first hotel by adapted vehicle. The rest of the day is yours to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of Quito.

After Breakfast this morning we head south towards the Amazon basin. Sit back and enjoy the picturesque landscape as we drive. We arrive at this evenings accommodation just in time for lunch. This afternoon includes a visit to the indigenous communities and spend time with the natives. Enjoy their hospitality while experiencing, typical local food, dance, costume and culture. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

Today is the water day. Enjoy a 3 hour boat ride on the Napo River and watch as the amazonian flora and fauna pass you by. Lunch is a picnic at Puerto Misahualli. We return back to the lodge where you will have free time to rest or explore further. Dinner is served at the hotel

This morning we take a visit to a local cacao bean plant and learn about the social and financial impact the trade has on the locals. After lunch a visit to Napo province capital city, Tena City. Enjoy time experiencing the sights and sounds of a rain forest city.

Tena City is approximately 20 Km from the the hotel and a 15 minute drive.
Before we leave the town today a walk in to the rain forest to have a lesson on the medicinal plants of the Amazon and their holistic properties.
After lunch we travel to Andean city Banos de Agua Santa, home to thermal baths and waterfalls. We arrive in time for a look around this city before dinner is served.

Today we explore the waterfalls. Cascada de La Virgen. is located in the city centre close to the Neo Gothic church of the Vigin of the Holy Water. We take the cable car across the ravine to the Manto de la novia and the impressive Pailon de diablo.
The afternoon is yours to explore the city, Enjoy the hot springs or treat yourself to a relaxing massage.

Today we travel back to Quito to enjoy her charms. Before arriving back we have a chance to visit a rose farm and learn how to grow magnificent roses. Enjoy the dramatic scenery as we travel through the Andes back towards the city. We arrive late afternoon. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

After breakfast we have a comprehensive city tour taking in the sights of this UNESCO world heritage site. The architecture of this city is simply beautiful. There is visits to churches, squares and plazas. This afternoon we take a visit to the Middle of the World Monument where experiments are carried out to prove that Quito is in the middle of the earth.

This morning we leave Quito and travel north back into the Andes to Otavalo and San Pablo Lake. When we arrive there will be a traditional Andean lunch. This afternoon we travel peguche village the home of manufacturing traditional wind instrument by the natives. Following this demonstration enjoy traditional Andean folk dance and music.

Today we visit the indigenous town of Otavalo. Enjoy the market selling traditional handicrafts such as jewellery, weaving, carvings, paintings and clothes. The perfect place to buy a souvenir and a unique reminder of your trip to Ecuador. We travel up to colonial Andean city of Ibarra to take a look around, enjoy the atmosphere of the squares and plazas or an ice cream in the park. Early evening we will enjoy a boat ride around the lake while listening to a local Andean group play traditional song.

After breakfast we travel back to Quito through the Andean countryside. After lunch we will visit the sky lift, a 4100 meter tower that give 360 degree views over Quito and to the volcanoes, the Andes and the Amazon in the distance. Tonight we will have our farewell dinner.
